Staying Safe: Teaching about Internet safety and harms, and online relationships ('Catch-up funding' offer) - Online session

Online training sessions are provided via Microsoft Teams. Delegates should use their School Improvement Liverpool Account Email Address to login to the Microsoft Teams session.

Course Overview

Children will have spent more time online during lockdown. Some of this may have been unsupervised, Relationships and activities which usually take place in ‘real life’ will have been mediated via a device. This will have created particular challenges and anxieties for many children. This training aims to positively support the healthy use of technology through the development of the skills and attitudes needed to navigate online relationships and internet safety.  Links will also be made with statutory relationships education and health education.

Catch up funding courses have limited places available and to ensure all schools and settings can benefit from this offer, delegates who fail to attend or cancel their place will be charged an administration fee.
